apples, oranges, bananas
Most microwavable meals need refrigeration, but you could look for pastas like mac n cheese, or boxed foods that can be microwaved. You can also make rice in a microwave. Many students take Cup Noodles, but they’re not exactly healthy. You could also take cans of chunky low sodium soups that have veggies in them. Be careful about the storage. My son’s girlfriend took some boxes of dried cereal to school and she ended up with every ant in LA county in her dorm room. You might consider investing in some of those plastic storage containers that stack up.
crispbread (Wasa/Ryvita) lasts forever unrefrigerated. Bananas, apples, oranges, honey, peanut butter, raisins/other dried fruit, nuts, popcorn
