Chicken and vegetable stir fry. If chicken is too expensive you can make a great stir fry with just veg with herbs and spices-yum!
Boiled eggs/chicken breasts/tuna + some salad (tomato/cucumber/lettuce/pepper…)
Dang i was going to say fish but that can be pretty expensive! Vegetarian meals can be a lot less expenisve to make and lower in fat, eg – chickpea tangine with apricot spicy couscous, lentil and vegetable soup, grilled medeteranian vegetables with bean mash, baked potato with tuna and sweetcorn? xx
it’s called.. fresh fruits and vegetables.. this is not rocket science.

chicken is extremely lean, and any vegetable is good for you. your best bet is to buy some chicken thighs, legs, breast, doesnt matter, even get pork chops, a small steak. learn different ways to make the chicken, braised chicken, baked chicken, bbq chicken, baked with different seasoning, then one day serve it with peas, kale and carrots, and other day broccoli and a salad, then coleslaw and brussel sprouts. I change up the routine often, and add in sheperds pie or lamb, duck, or something else exciting, but this is a simple fast way to eat fairly healthy. as long as you eat lots of veggies and a smaller portion of meat you will always come out ahead. you can make changes to the meat and changes to the veggies and it always seems like a different meal. add cajun spice to your peas, and other spice mixtures on your couliflour and broccoli. make a cheese sauce every once in a while for the brocolli. make kale chips. then kale stir fry with mushrooms. seek out recipes before hand so you can buy your ingredients. and buy chicken when it is on sale, buy bigger packs and it will be cheaper, just wrap it in small portions and freeze it. and veggies are almost always cheap. I find if you go to a veggie market they are often cheaper than a super market.

these are all healthy sides that when eaten with other veggies and a healthy piece of meat will keep you on a good path. every once in a while i throw really fattening mains in and I still keep a regular weight. you can even buy frozen peas and frozen corn, which taste great, just warm them up and dont cook em dead. you can either buy veggies and freeze them if it is easier to keep them or buy bags of frozen veggies. probly cheaper to do it yourself.
ALL foods are healthy in proper portions!!! Simple foods are least expensive.
