Seem to be the harassment magnat when my friends tree gets ideally full of health tasty peaches but ALL THE WORMS Problems root twist as good as insects as good as she NEVER HAS TO TREAT THE tree !! How is which possible? Why does cave get them as good as hers does not?? I unequivocally wish to grow full of health fruit. I only additionally planted apple trees as well. Her tree is additionally NOT nearby the brush margin (not my property) as well. Is which why? Thanks
My crony does not do anything in conditions of treating her peaches NOTHING!

ya its not just peaches
i have a cherry tree and apple in my backyard. Cherry tree is by far the worst! when it gets to ripe then it oozes out which is a magnet for insects.
Most pests and disease problems inhabit plants that are not as healthy as others. First of all, is yours getting full sun? Secondly, are you fertilizing with a fruit tree fertilizer? Thirdly, did you buy yours at a reputable garden center or one of the “box stores”? In general, all I can say is that plants are like people–the healthier they are, the more resistant they are to diseases and other maladies. I hope this helps some.
Ah, don’t feel like the lone ranger. My apple and peach are pest magnets too. No other fruit trees within a mile of me either. I’ve found that fruit dropped on the ground encourages pests. Once they get in and on the tree, you about can’t get rid of them without Dormant tree spray and spraying when the buds open in the spring, etc. Try clipping all dead or damaged branches off, clean up right away any dropped fruits and spray dormant tree spray all over the tree and around the base this fall when the leaves drop off. It will help out greatly.
The proximity to untreated wildlands is a very likely source of all your insects. I would add BT to your spring treatment plan. It is a bacteria that caterpillars and worms eat off the leaves, they get constipated and die. You should also spray your adjoining brush field at the same time. It is not harmful to pets and children but will harm the caterpillars of all the butterflies that visit your yard. After a couple of years of spraying the problem will be greatly lessened and you will only need to do it again every few years.
You can purchase BT at any nursery or most hardware stores.
It’s hard to say why one tree will get all the problems and another won’t. Residual problems, that is overwintering spores and insects is the most obvious answer. Are you dormant spraying with lime sulfur and oil? Once you have a problem that reoccurs, it’s hard to break that cycle.
Another thought is stress. Maybe your tree is under more stress which in turn attract problems. Could be differences in soil, root stock, water, previous pests (borer), heat/frost.
Finally, variety. Could be you are growing two different varieties and one is more prone to problems in your area.
you shouldn’t be treating the trees because they’ll attract what we call earwigs and they’ll take care of most all of your bug problem. If you spray your peach trees you end up with an effect of killing the good bugs and there isn’t any to eat the bad bugs when they come out. However apples are a different story because the bugs that like them are different all together. Try not to disturb the soil by the trunk too as that is the ideal place for the earwigs to nest and they have easy access to the tree all day. They other problem could be water as peaches require a good deal of water and if they don’t get enough their natural defenses don’t work as well good luck next year
Maybe pesticide drift from somewhere.
In general you can’t blame your neighbors for your insects and fungus etc. The fungus pathogens are everywhere and you have to spray.
Next early spring before the buds swell spray with lime-sulfur and your leaf curl will be 100% gone for the year.
Peaches and apples have to be sprayed about every 14 days with a fungicide and insecticide. It’s a lot of work.
The most important spray will be just after bloom.
Spray only a fungicide during bloom to protect the bees.
yeah well i don’t know about your friend but i would sugget getting some leaf curl and plant insect spray for fruit trees this way you will get healthy food i know that it isn’t organic but organic foods are really hard to keep healthy so yeah and if your frind is telling the truth it could be a big tree which basicly means that there are insects but hard to see and they don’t eat all the fruit but i have no idea how to naturally get them off and i also have apple and peach trees and apples are alot easier then peaches and also you should spray the leaves and fruit and then wash the peaches or other fruit before eating
Ask your friend what she does with her tree…
