You are NOT fat! There are 6 year olds that weigh tghe same or more than you do. They are fat. You are not. I am 13 and about the same height as you and weigh way more than you. I am fat. You are not.

Hi, um probably you a a bit overweight, but this also depends on how thick your bones are, but I’m sure you know whether you have extra fat or not. If you actually don’t think you are fat then just strive towards getting toned up.

This is the kind of perfect (for me) diet that I try to stick to but of course most of the time I don’t it’s just something to aim for:

Breakfast: Porridge mixed with a little bit of wheat bran which I sometimes add as it makes you feel fuller for longer OR proper muesli, and by that I mean like the stuff you would get in a health store and not that sugary crap with clumps of sweet sugary balls they chuck in some brands in supermarkets). With both these breakfast option I put in a any type of chopped fruit.

Snack: Fresh fruit – however many you want and nuts or plain yogurt.

Lunch- Fresh salad with a bit of mayo or sauce. I try to steer clear of bread but I’m only human so that doesn’t always work, but I only eat it if I have a craving for it. And always brown bread.

Throughout the day I will eat fruit whenever I want- at least 5 portions!!

Tea: Just because something is meat doesn’t mean it’s healthy, for example, sausages and mince meat. Try NOT to eat carbs for tea like pasta and bread it’s best to have these for lunch.

To be Honest I’m getting fed up with writing this all in such a rigid form, you can vary what you eat and when you eat something every day so I will just give a list of good things that your diet should MAINLY be based around-
Fish, lean meat, tinned fish
Potatoes instead of pasta,
Lots of veg to make into a salad,
Fresh healthy soups- you can make these yourself,
Natural yogurt,
Fruit- lots of it!
Nuts
Porridge and muesli (with honey as opposed to jam or sugar)

Don’t eat cereal bars they are bad for you and so are cereals like cheerios.

It’s good that you are active but you should incorporate at least 30mins walks into you week, 3 times a week and maybe hit the gym once a week, oh and get off at the bus stop earlier so you have to walk longer.

There are so many more things I could say but really I don’t know enough about you so you should choose what you know will suit you. Probably you don’t make or cook your own meals so most importantly get your mum and dad to support you on this and don’t let them fool you with the “it’s just puppy fat” rubbish. Drink plenty of water!!
