CAN YOU BUY THE DESSERT THAT COMES IN THE HEALTHY CHOICE FROZEN MEALS BY THEMSELVES? OR THE RECIPE?

You know those fruit-crisp desserts which come in the little of the Healthy Choice dishes along with your snack as well as veggies? They have been sooo good! I am regularly left wanting more. They have been customarily cherries, apples or both with the little sort of glaze/sauce as well as the frail upon top. I’d adore to buy it by itself or have the recipe for it!

For a simple way of making your own crisp, buy a can of pie filling at the store. Whatever kind you like! (Apple, cherry, peach, etc…) Spread the filling into a 9×9 casserole dish. In a separate bowl, mix together your “crisp” parts. You can use oats, chopped nuts, or even corn flakes! Give them a rough chop then mix with honey until the mixture gets thick but spreadable. Spread on top of the pie filling and top with cinnamon, brown sugar, or whatever you like! Bake in the oven at 350 until the top is golden brown! It shouldn’t take very long since there aren’t any raw ingredients in the dish! I serve mine warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side! I also like to put more honey on the crisp after it’s on the serving plate! Yum!
