No, granola bars usually have more sugar than a candy bar and fruit is just sugar too.

whole grain toast
A granola bar and fruit is a great way to start off the day. A glass of milk is also a great complement to a healthy breakfast. By granola bar, this does not include chocolate covered bars or anything very sugary. To lose weight the best thing to do is cut out calories in drinks, such as soda or juice. If you really enjoy a class of juice in the morning, try splitting it with water, even a little helps and you still are taking in less sugar. Other good breakfasts include cereal (nothing sugared) and fruit, oatmeal, egg white omelette, o some whole wheat bread. There’s many ways to go about eating healthy, the fried foods and heavy cheeses are the problems. Hope this helps.
here is a good food plan:
breakfast: yogurt and a piece of fruit or healthy cereal like special K
lunch: salad: not too appetizing for some people so you could also eat like a turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread; you could alos have another bowl of your healthy cereal lol; and stuff that is just “good” for you
dinner: grilled chicken; fish; steamed broccoli, baked potato
p.s. cherries are really good when trying to lose weight… you want to stay away from bananas, watermelon, and pineapple: too sugary and just add on fat. good luck!
