GOOD & HEALTHY BREAKFAST IDEAS THAT KEEP YOU FULL UNTIL LUNCH?

Everything full of illness which we could have for breakfast doesn’t appear to keep me full. For example; if I had eggs, bacon, as well as toast which would substantially keep me full, though wouldn’t be the most appropriate for my health. What have been a little full of illness breakfast choices which keep we going?

Smoothies are usualy really good – like, bananas, orange juice, strawberries, pretty much any combination of fruits.
Also i really like the quaker flavored oatmeal – especially cinnamon. 2 packets of those keep me really full, and it’s healthy

Without a doubt, Quaker’s Old-Fashioned Oatmeal. That, with a piece of toast and glass of milk, will keep you going ’till lunchtime. My mother used to tell me it would “stick to my ribs”. And I do believe it did.

Waffle French Toast
Karen Farr, Warsaw, Mo.

4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter, melted
8 to 10 slices bread
Waffle syrup

Preheat and lightly oil a waffle iron. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar and salt, then melted butter. Dip bread slices, one at a time, in egg mixture and drain. Bake in waffle iron 2 to 3 minutes, until brown. Serve with your favorite syrup. Yields 8 to 10 slices.

Servings: 2
Chunky Applesauce

Nothing beats the taste of homemade applesauce and fixing it in the slow cooker couldn’t be easier. Serve it alone or spooned over warm gingerbread.

8 to 10 large cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 to 1 cup water
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Place apples, water, cinnamon and sugar in slow cooker. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours, or on high 3 to 4 hours.

Servings: Serves 6 to 8.

That’s an easy one…it’s always a bowl of oatmeal. It really sticks with you!

Seriously, I recommend a bowl of Mini-Wheats with WHOLE MILK. The fat slows down the absorption of glucose into the blood stream from the small intestine.

there are many pills that you can get at any pharmacy without perscription that really curb your appetite, their healthy and really don’t have that many side effects, they hold your hunger for a while, not anything harmful

food with fiber will fill you up. they make whole grain bagels that have a lot of fiber in it. also frosted mini wheat are good as a snack. I bring a baggie to work to munch on. They make different flavors too. increasing fiber in your diet can also bring down cholesterol.

Any kind of whole grain hot cereal is a good choice. Oatmeal is great, but don’t forget about nine-grain! Viva nine-grain! (Red Mill is a good brand)

I eat oatmeal. But I eat it like cereal. I don’t cook it all the way; so the oats are still cruchy, then I pour in a bit of milk to cool down the oats, then I sprinkle it lightly with sugar for a bit of sweetness. I hear there’s a honey grapenuts..and that usually keeps me full. Finish that off with some orange juice…and I’m good. Granola bars might be good too.

I love cereal and fruit. But not together. I eat cereal first and then the fruit like dessert.

I also love bagels and cream cheese.

Both keep me full till lunch.

Good old fashioned oatmeal. Have it with a slice of toast with peanut butter on it and a glass of milk. It will keep you filled up.

2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large apple – peeled, cored and diced

1 cup butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark molasses

——————————————————————————–

DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Pour in the milk, eggs and oil; stir just until smooth. Mix in the apple.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Coat with cooking spray. Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry. Flip and cook until browned on the other side.
To make the glaze, heat the butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the molasses, brown sugar and vanilla. Serve warm spooned over pancakes.
